He's baaack!
Rap superstar Eminem is set to release a new album called "The Death of Slim Shady." The album's lead single, "Houdini," just dropped along with a star-studded music video.
In the song, Eminem takes aim at his old self before directing his focus towards other artists. It wouldn't be surprising if the line about Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez ruffles some feathers. The music video features appearances by Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Pete Davidson, Shane Gillis, and others.
The song is cool and clever, but it's just not hitting the mark for me. While I appreciate the creativity in the visuals and can tell that a lot was invested, it doesn't quite resonate. Could it be the timing? Like, why now? Why was there no rollout?
Check out Houdini below and let me know your thoughts.
